To stream with RTMP credentials using Streamlabs Desktop, follow these steps:
Open Streamlabs Desktop and Access Settings: Launch Streamlabs Desktop and locate the “Settings” icon, typically found in the top right corner. Click on it to open the settings panel.
Navigate to Stream Settings: In the left-hand sidebar of the settings window, click on “Stream.”
Select Custom Streaming Server: Under the “Stream Type” dropdown menu, choose “Custom Streaming Server.” This option allows you to manually enter your RTMP credentials.
Enter RTMP URL and Stream Key:
URL: In the “URL” field, paste the RTMP ingest server URL provided by your streaming platform or service. This usually begins with rtmp://.
Stream Key: In the “Stream Key” field, paste the unique stream key associated with your account on the streaming platform. This key authorizes your stream to connect to your specific channel.
Save Settings: Click “Done” or “Confirm & Go Live” (depending on the Streamlabs Desktop version) to save your changes.
Start Streaming: Once the settings are saved, click the “Go Live” or “Start Streaming” button within Streamlabs Desktop to begin broadcasting to your custom RTMP destination.
